What exit strategies to adopt? Please join us to hear Mr. Shahin Shadfar CEO omNovia Technologies present the various issues to consider before starting a technology start-up.  Mr. Shadfar  will discuss opportunities as well as challenges an entrepreneur will face in their journey. Speaker Bio: Shahin Shadfar is the founder and CEO of omNovia Technologies Inc, a Houston-based software company providing cutting edge web conferencing and webinar solutions in over 40 countries. Prior to starting omNovia in 2004, Shahin was a member of the engineering team that invented the first Java and cryptography based smart card in 1997 and later co-founded the Information Security group at Schlumberger. Shahin’s rare combination of technical skills with business leadership has proven critical to omNovia Technologies’ rapid growth. Shahin holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité in Paris and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech in Atlanta.

Iranian Film Festival 2012

Pendar Book Club

The Pendar Book Club is an independent club that meets once a month at the ICF office on the last Sunday of each month.  Each month, they pick and read one book and discuss it at the upcoming meeting.  Most books read are classics and modern classics in English by various world authors. Their next session will be on Sunday, January 29th in the Iranian Cultural Foundation-Houston (ICF-Houston) Building at 9700 Richmond, Suite 100, Houston, Texas 77042.   We will discuss the book,"A Moveable Feast" by Ernest Hemingway. The book club session will start at 5:00 pm sharp. The time for the book club sessions has been changed to the LAST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH. SIAWE 5K Fun Run 2012
